Future Theory are an alternative rock band from the big skies of Lincolnshire with vehement psychedelic tendencies. The band formed in 2016 and released their first EP ‘Fool’s Dream’. After a handful of single releases, the band have finally completed their debut album released 05/02/2022. Now in 2025 they have perfected and crafted their sound to new heights with a new EP dropping bit by bit starting with the first song: Reality buzz… OUT NOW
The band have poured a lot of different influences into their music; cool, understated psychedelia, grunge, indie, post punk and serious alt-rock guitar sounds which all mixed together has enabled them to form their own unique sound.
Fool's Dream is the debut EP from Lincoln's finest psych rockers Future Theory. Drawing heavily upon a diverse sonic palette with influences ranging from shoegaze, to alternative rock, funk and psychedelia, Future Theory have quickly formed a distinctly moody, ambient sound. They are fearless and have a vision to make the music they want to make, not be defined by boundaries or what people say they should be making and that is what defines them as a band. credits released October 28, 2016
